I offer a live printmaking experience for weddings where I hand-carve and print original linocut artwork on-site during your celebration. Capturing not just how your day looked, but how it felt. This print is designed specifically for your wedding, inspired by the surrounding scenery and your venue. Printed live for your guests to watch and interact as your print comes alive, it becomes a shared moment woven into the rhythm of your celebration.

Book Your Day

  • Fill out inquiry form and connect with me.
  • Choose print size and experience 
  • 25% retainer and signed contract

Before Your Day

Meeting: Ideally two months before your wedding date to discuss the design you’d like for your print (e.g., specific mountains in the frame, nature elements, or aspects of the venue).

Two weeks later: I deliver a drawing of your print for approval. At this stage, one round of revisions is included if needed. Revisions are limited to small detail changes, not entirely new designs

On Your Day

I will arrive two hours before cocktail hour to set up.

The live carving and printmaking experience will last 4–6 hours. You and your guests will watch as the block is transformed from a carving to a printed image before everyone's eyes in an interactive and entertaining way.

You will receive your print framed and ready for display, along with the on-site guest prints.

After Your Day

Once the carving is complete, any additional off-site hand-pulled prints and digitally printed thank you cards are created and delivered to you by mail, so guests and loved ones can also cherish the experience.

What is Live Wedding Printmaking?

Live Wedding Printmaking is an interactive art experience where I carve and hand-print custom linocut designs live at your wedding. It blends live entertainment with handmade art, giving your celebration a personal, tactile touch while creating one-of-a-kind prints that capture the spirit of your day.
What is linocut?

Linocut is a traditional printmaking process where an image is hand-carved into a sheet of linoleum. The carved block is rolled with ink and pressed onto paper to create a print. Each piece is printed by hand, giving it a rich texture and slight variations that make every print unique.
How much does live wedding printmaking cost?

Prices vary depending on the package and add-ons chosen. My live printmaking packages start at $1800. Click here for more information on what’s included in each package.
When will the carving/printmaking take place during the day?

The carving of the block will be finished during your cocktail hour and printing will be completed during the reception.
How long will the process take from start to finish?

After our first call/consultation, I will begin drawing your print, ideally two months before the wedding. Once the drawing is approved by the couple, I transfer the design onto the block and begin carving a portion of it to ensure completion during your day. On the wedding day, I will be working on the print from the start of cocktail hour into the reception. I aim to have your framed print and additional guest prints packaged midway through the reception for guests to enjoy
What will our guests receive?

Depending on the package chosen, selected guests (chosen by the couple or planner) will receive either 10 4x6 prints or 5 8x10 prints that day. Additional post-wedding add-ons include extra hand-pulled prints and/or digitally printed copies for thank you cards.
How will Live Printed and Pulled Prints be distributed to selected guests?

Option 1: Lottery system. One print per table. A note will be placed under one chair per table, and that guest takes the print home.

Option 2: Prints will be delivered to the couple post-wedding or handed to the planner for distribution that night.
What elements of the day do you include in the print?

My prints primarily focus on the surrounding scenery of your wedding, such as the mountain range, landscape views, and natural setting. Depending on the package chosen, I can also include select elements of your venue to make the print even more personalized to your day
Do you do travel for weddings?

I am a Calgary, AB–based artist who focuses on printing mountain and nature scenery, so I am happy to travel for weddings. Travel fees are included for weddings within 3 hours of Calgary. Additional travel fees apply beyond this distance.
What's the first step to booking this experience?

The first step is to fill out the inquiry form and connect with the artist. A 25% retainer and signed contract will secure your date and begin the process of creating your live wedding print.
